My ceramic pieces, which is created at Overland Studio, are chosen to participate in the small exhibition called “Experimental Ceramics” (Vietnamese: Phong Cách Gốm Mới) in Binh Duong, a well-known province for pottery art.

Most of my ceramic works are made using hand-wheel technique. I prefer to play with spontaneous and experimental shapes and forms, as well as mixing a variety of glaze colours, rather than sticking to the traditional formats.

The featured image is one of the exhibited pieces, Fragments of the Ocean. It was made by mixing found material near the ocean(seashell, sand, rock, debris,…) with clay and then applied my own glaze colour on top. I was awarded 2nd place in the Young Craftmanship Competition.
